During the injection molding process, the long glass fiber particles will interlock and overlap with each other, forming a three-dimensional, net-like framework that runs through the entire part. It is this unique framework structure that endows LGF PA66 with superior performance far exceeding that of SGF PA66 polymer, resolving the limitations of the latter in terms of strength, impact toughness, and dimensional stability.

Glass Fiber PLA Material

The long fiber framework can effectively bear and distribute external loads, resulting in tensile strength and bending modulus that are much higher than those of SGF PA66 composite with the same amount of glass fibers.

When the material is subjected to impact, the long fibers can effectively prevent the expansion of cracks. This "fiber pull-out" and "fiber bridging" effect can absorb a large amount of impact energy, making the impact strength at the notch of LGF PA66 typically double that of SGF materials, or even higher.

The preparation of LGF polyamide 66 particles mainly adopts the pultrusion impregnation method. The process flow is as follows:
Before the continuous glass fiber roving enters the impregnation mold, it will undergo heating or special surface treatment to remove moisture and activate the fiber surface, ensuring a good interface bonding with the resin.

In the extruder, the molten PA66 resin is heated to a high temperature and then forced through a special impregnation mold under certain pressure and shear force, penetrating into every glass fiber strand. This process requires precise control of temperature, pressure, and draw rate to ensure that the fibers are completely encapsulated by the resin, forming a "core-shell" structure.
The impregnated rod materials are rapidly cooled and solidified, and then cut into standard-length particles (usually 10 mm or 12 mm). This molding method can maximize the integrity of the fibers and avoid fiber breakage caused by secondary processing (such as screw shearing).
